A new alliance website?

Hey I just talked about it in the alliance chat the other day and made this mockup:

Would anyone think this would be nice? And should I make a small "launcher" application that opens the new website first and show a button "Play GuildWars" which starts GuildWars after you've just seen the community at a glance?

Im not sure why we need a new alliance forum when we already have one, if I had a pound for every forum that people wanted to make i would be very rich by now, at one time we had three forums running and i left it to the members to decide what one we should use, and the outcome was this, it just becomes confusing. Its a nice offer but i will continue to use this forum Laters LEA

The idea is that this forums are just forums, it's sometimes hard to know someone by all his/her different GW names, if we have the site I suggested I'd have a profiles system and more features to coordinate things to do in GW self, especially by making the Launcher application you can see when people last logged in so you can track them if they're on, have been on and stuff, and what they are planning to do what when

Did'nt the FBI use this technology?

Haha tracking when you were playing GW? If you acted to damn suspicious they might have! :O

But I mean in an X-fire way only more specific for GW and the whole Alliance/Guilds thing, to get a more seamless feeling with it.

The site won't be online soon, but it will come.

I'm aiming at Guild Wars 2 to make it more future proof, and maybe by that time guilds here will switch over to that side slowly, I might even implement alliance specific forums with import features.
