Howdy folks
Angela here (or Sarah / Aurora in-game).
Just wanted to drop a line to say a big Thank you to all you amazing folks in Lea who welcomed me back into the guild tonight. A little bit of background for those who don't know - I joined Lea International in September 2007 right at the beginning of my GW career. A little less than a year later I left the guild to see what else was out there. I had restless legs and thought I should see what other guilds were like, maybe try run my own one....
Well, needless to say (drum roll please)
"Nothing compares to you"
I was very happy to find Isla, Anna and Nondi still going strong and even more happy when Anna invited me back. This is the best guild on GW and it's the genuine friendships which we create that binds us together. We might not have eight million members, but those who we do have rock hard!
If you'd like to see what I have been up to in the past three months during which I did not play GW, click here; http://skepticdetective.wordpress.com/
I have been actively involved in the South African sceptics community, trying to promote rational thought and the teaching of a sound foundation in science. I organise a monthly get-together of like-minded folks in my area (nicknamed "sceptics in the pub") and I am soon going to be the editor and writer for the monthly South African Sceptics newsletter.
And then, of course, there is my amazing son who thinks that petting lion cubs is awesome (well, we do live in Africa after all, we practically ride elephants to work).

Huge Hugaroonies!!
Really nicely put Sarah (sorry, but after all this time,i still call you Sarah.)
I nearly fell out of my chair when you pm'd me last night.(and i'm really glad you did.)When you left the Guild,it was quite a shock. The phrase "part of the furniture" comes to mind.
For anyone who has'nt met Sarah before, she was a very big part of Lea for a long time. She had a kick-butt Warrior charr, and was a good bud to Isla Nandi and myself. So you can imagine that it was like losing a limb when she went. She also joined me in the disaterous "Morphic Assassins" spin-off Guild.(Sorry yet again for that one hun.It seemed a good idea at the time tho.)
Glad to have you back hun,and looking forward to lots of on-screen nuttiness once more.
Catch you laters......AnnaX.
